Spring has sprung

A warm day greeted ‘garden volunteers’ recently, as they arrived for a day to helping with cultivating and preparing the gardens at Mostyn Hall, in readiness for the Spring/Summer season.

The groups visiting included Flintshire Local Voluntary Council (FLVC), Ysgol Maes Hyfryd, Connahs Quay High School, MIND, Arthritis Care, Gwaenysgor Food Co-op, Kinsale School, Coleg Harlech, Next Steps, Flintshire U3A, Glyndwr University, DWP Job Centre, Communities First, Bluebell Inn Halkyn and Transition Holywell & District.

All the volunteers got on well and had a really enjoyable day in the peaceful surroundings of Mostyn Hall – deemed a great success by all those involved.
