Chris Lloyd and his team have been in the thick of it for the last couple of months refurbishing a fine cottage in the village of Rewl.
The project has included new roof, wiring, plumbing and some reconfiguring of the interior. The original stonework has been re-pointed, with a 1960’s extension refaced in stone to blend with the original.
Chris states: ‘this has been a great project and we have been able to update the house for 21stcentury living, whilst retaining plenty of the character of the original cottage. This includes exposed beams in the living room and some of the original doors. During the work we found a stone block with what looks like ‘way markings’. We were able to incorporate it into the stone facing to add character.
We should have the work completed and the cottage ready for letting by the end of June. The new occupier will have a phenomenal cottage in a great setting’.
