Mostyn Hall opening to the public for the first time ever

Mostyn Hall will be soon be open to the general public for the first time in its history to allow access to view the fine collection of mainly family portraits and other pictures and furniture.

The family acquired the land upon which Mostyn Hall stands around 500 years ago. The Hall was the seat of the Baronets of Mostyn from 1660, and the seat of the Barons of Mostyn since 1831.

The 1st Baron Mostyn commissioned Ambrose Poynter in the mid-19th century to remodel Mostyn Hall in Jacobean Style we see today.
