Spitfire Plane in Llandudno on Extravaganza weekend

At 14.30pm on Saturday 3rd May 2014, Llandudno will get a taste of what is to come just three weeks later, as excitement builds for Llandudno Air Show 2014.

Squadron leader Andy Millikin will be taking to the skies in a Spitfire PS915, one of the Royal Air Force’s most iconic aircraft.

Built at Southampton in 1945, the Spitfire PR Mk XIX PS915 entered service just too late to see action in World War Two, but has served with distinction in a variety of operations since.

In the cockpit, the pilot brings with him a wealth of experience, having flown on exercises in America, Oman, Denmark, France, Gibraltar, Cyprus, Norway and Canada.

Be sure to come and visit the Victorian Extravaganza and Transport Festival this bank holiday weekend to see this true icon of the British aviation industry, as well as the various attractions that this years events have to offer.

The Victorian Extravaganza takes place on the 3rd – 5th May 2014.

Llandudno Air Show 2014 is ready for take-off on the 24th May 2014.
