The Olympic Torch in Llandudno

A large enthusiastic crowd welcomed the Olympic torch to Llandudno on the 29th May.

We were blessed with glorious sunshine which showed the town at its best to a world audience.

The Estate staff were among the many familiar faces from town businesses, that took time out to watch the once in a lifetime occasion.

Schools were also out in force along the route to cheer it on.

After going through Deganwy, it made its way down Gloddaeth Avenue and then to the summit of the Great Orme by cable car. Safely back down, it passed along the seafront and along to Venu Cymru.
